About Richard

A 

Richard aka "The Amazing Richard", began learning the craft of Magic at the age of eight.  He first caught the "Magic bug " when an Uncle pulled a playing card from behind his ear as a kid. . Richard was self-taught reading all the Magic books at  local Cape Cod libraries many times over. He studied with local  and Boston professional Magicians while in High School and began learning stagecraft through his High School Drama department.  He performed throughout College as a student at UMASS Boston,

where he studied both Technical theatre and acting. 

 

Richard has performed at a wide variety of event spaces including the 2300 seat South Shore Music Circus, Cape Cod Melody Tent, Wheelock Family Theatre, Payomet Performing Arts Center, Cape Cod Theatre Company, CCFTA, and for hundreds of other venues and groups both private and public. He performs in the Boston, Cape Cod and the Islands, and greater New England.
